Classes

Offering a variety of classes intended to to help individuals improve their skills as responsible gun owners. Classes are typically 4-6 hours based on student needs and how much ammo you bring.

For any shooter that's never had any formal training and wants to actually learn how to correctly and effectively use a pistol. The Pistol 1 format is also used for the Woman's Pistol 1.

What's Covered:

• Weapon Safety
• Weapon Function
• Stance 
• Body Posture (hips, shoulders, arms)
• Grip
• Sight Alignment/Picture
• Trigger Press
• Recoil Management (follow up pairs)
• Variety of 5-15 yard Drills
• Clearing Malfunctions 
• Understanding Ammo

Needed Equipment:

• Semiautomatic Pistol
• 1-2 Extra magazines
• 200 Rounds 
• EYE & EAR PROTECTION
• Pants & closed toed shoes
• Season appropriate comfort items (bug spray, sunscreen, hand warmers, etc.)
• Hydration and snacks
• GOOD ATTITUDE and a SMILE

For experienced shooters or those with previous training (here or somewhere else). Shooters are expected to be proficient in basic pistol shooting and all basic functions of their equipment. NOT recommended for individuals WITHOUT previous training.
