YOUR RED FOX RESILIENCE INSTRUCTOR

Your Red Fox Resilience Instructor

A USCCA certified firearms instructor certified in Concealed Carry and Home Defense, Countering the Mass Shooter Threat (active shooter prevention and response), and Church Safety Team planning and training. He is a career military leader, operations planning officer, intelligence officer, multi deployment combat veteran in several theaters of operations, leadership academy senior instructor, and wilderness first responder. 

Classes

Class Overview

Classes are usually 4-6 students. Class is approximately 4 hours long. The first portion is "dry" and held in the classroom or on the range depending on the weather. The second portion is live fire and held on the range where we apply the skills and techniques learned earlier in a series of shooting drills all designed to build proficiency and competence.

What to Bring

  • Semi Automatic Pistol or Carbine (based on class type)
  • Ear protection
  • Eye protection
  • 200+ Rounds 
  • Extra magazines
  • Belt with holster & mag pouches (if applicable) 
  • Gloves (optional)
  • Season appropriate clothing (range is in the woods!)
  • Sturdy close toed shoes, preferably with ankle support 
  • Sun screen (seasonal)
  • Insect repellent (seasonal)
  • Camp chair for breaks
  • ALL FOOD AND HYDRATION FOR THE DAY. We are fairly rural with no convenient food establishments nearby.

Private Training

If you prefer private one-on-one training we offer individual training sessions. Private training allows for considerably more personalized instruction, detailed instruction specific to YOUR gear and capabilities, as well as increased focus on the areas and skills YOU want to focus on.

  • Extra magazines

Private Training prices cover a 4 hour block of instruction on a single weapon type (pistol OR carbine).

Training Events

We usually hold a couple pistol or carbine events every month. Our events focus on specific skills and always have a training plan, theme, or concept. While training you'll have fun, build community, and meet like-minded people. Event details are found in the individual event listings since they change each time. Each event typically lasts 2-4 hours depending on complexity, training objectives, and number of participants.

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat

Church Safety Training

What if your most precious moments of worship were disrupted by acts of evil? Get a comprehensive analysis on the data that has been gathered from mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine (1999). This training addresses a number of topics such as:


  • Uncover the unsettling reality of mass shootings carried out in houses of worship by examining real-life attacks from across the country.
  • Understand the common challenges most places of worship face and discover how to overcome them with a comprehensive security checklist.
  • Discover how worshippers can prepare for, prevent, respond to and deal with the aftermath of an active shooter event.

  • How to create an emergency operations plan, and what the special security considerations are for schools, churches or businesses.
  • Special Considerations for Houses of Worship
  • How to perform triage and treat the wounded.


Church Safety Training is a 4 hour block of classroom training.
